Alongside our commercial products, DAT runs a research track exploring what distributed operations will need next — before it's a product roadmap item.
Some ideas are ready for governments and enterprises today. Others need to be tested, piloted, and proven first. This page is where those earlier-stage initiatives live — honestly labeled as research, not sold as finished products.
DAT ID is an early-stage initiative exploring verified digital identity for field staff — a potential trust layer beneath future DAT products, so that every check-in, report, and record can be tied to a verified person.
DAT ID is currently in research and pilot exploration. It is not yet a commercially available product, and isn't sold or deployed on its own — it's being developed as a foundation that other DAT products may build on as it matures.
KnowDAT already delivers training and policy updates to distributed teams today — the R&D track is exploring where it goes next. Early research is looking at adaptive delivery that adjusts to a worker's role, language, and connectivity, and at predictive gap detection: surfacing which teams need which knowledge before a compliance issue makes it obvious.
This work is exploratory and not on a committed release timeline — it's a look at where the product could go, not a roadmap commitment.
